Hands down, these were the best facials either of us has ever had. Sarah didn’t just go through the motions—she took her time and made the experience truly luxurious, including an incredible facial along with a relaxing neck and shoulder massage. It was clear she genuinely cares about her clients and the quality of her work. It was my first time trying the head spa treatment, and it was absolutely amazing. My only complaint is that I wish there were an option for an even longer combo because I didn’t want it to end! The entire experience set the tone for our day. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and genuinely happy. If you’ve been thinking about booking an appointment, do yourself a favor and treat yourself—you won’t regret it!

I hired Salon du Sud for my wedding day hair & makeup for myself, my moms and my bridesmaids and they absolutely exceeded ALL expectations! We had Mari, Brittany, Layna… read more & Elise. Not only are they just extremely talented at what they do but they are so friendly, easy to work with and a blast to have hanging out with you the morning of your wedding! I didn’t really know what I actually wanted for my hair on the day of the wedding and Brittany just read my mind or something, I don’t know, because it was even more perfect than I thought it could be. And she worked with me to get it exactly right until I was SUPER happy with it! Mari did my makeup and holy smokes it was PERFECT! I also had them do my hair & makeup for my bridal photos and they were so sweet taking my notes and likes into consideration when making slight adjustments for the big day (because I know everyone has the anxiety to voice your opinions on things you may want to change). And they were super quick! They finished earlier than expected so we had some downtime where we could just relax before all the craziness started. But not too early! And the makeup and hair lasted so well all night! I also had Mari do my spray tan 2 days before my wedding and that thing lasted well into my honeymoon and even after I came back! It looked so good without looking fake. We just had so much fun with them and Mari made the whole booking and planning process so easy. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and I cannot thank them enough!

I am… read more a breast cancer warrior preparing for my next surgery in a week & my husband & I stopped in last week after having a horrible hair appt at another salon the day before which left my platinum blonde (12+ yrs now) not SO blonde and my roots not so touched up and my pink well let’s just stop while we can. We met Macee and explained what was going on & she booked me immediately to get things rolling before my surgery. Today when I got there I was welcomed like I’ve been going there forever, the front desk staff is on point, friendly and so helpful. Macee brought me in the back and we started discussing what next steps were and Brittany came over and also listened and offered so much wonderful suggestions to help me get back to where I use to be gradually so we don’t damage my hair. Brittany was actually off of work today and took the time to listen and hear my concerns as well as help Macee get this blonde mess back under control. All I needed now was some braids in time for surgery since I won’t be able to lift my arms for a few weeks. Macee did an phenomenal job getting rid of most of the gold brass mess and styled it beautifully then introduced me to my new unicorn braid queen, Lexi who worked magic with this customized braid just in time for surgery. I am so excited to have found my new hair home and trust all of these stunning, incredibly talented women at this salon. If you haven’t been RUN don’t walk there and book and treat yourself to the best talent I have found in Baton Rouge. From start to finish, they had empathy, understanding, kindness and made a difficult hair situation a more relaxed and calmer one so I could focus on my health and enjoy a moment of “normalcy” among the health chaos. Brittany has established a very professional while family feel, and well put together team at Salon du Sud and her salon makes you feel like you walked right into Southern Charm with the most personalized services and hospitality that you can only find in Louisiana.
